I love bags. Love them. I won’t deny it. In my wish list I have a Lady Dior, for instance. And in my closet there are some Louis Vuitton bags (not as many as I wish) and some Coach ones too. Today’s post is about the latter.

Coach is American and has been seen as a luxury market entry-level brand. It ended up losing space in the past few years, but I’m still a fan. The good thing about liking Coach bags is that there are outlet stores, including in Brazil.

Up until now I had only bought their products in stores – in malls or outlets – in Brazil and in the US. But when I was planning the trip to the UK I checked their site and decided to do some sale shopping. The disadvantage is not claiming the VAT back. But when the discount is good, it’s worth it. This was the case.

I’ve been eyeing up the Rogue for a long time. It’s from the brand’s runway line, Coach 1941, with designs by creative director Stuart Vevers and limited distribution. The main retail line is Coach New York. In addition to the Rogue, the 1941 carries the Dinky, the Duffle, the Saddle, among others. In Brazil, the largest Rogue costs about R$ 4500. In the UK site sale I purchased it for £ 398 – equivalent to R$ 1771, converted by the exchange rate of R$ 4.45, which is what I paid when transferring money to my Jersey account. An excellent deal if you ask me.

I also bought a few other items in the sale, to take advantage of the discounts: a passport cover, a small wristlet, a luggage tag and a space shuttle bag tag, from their NASA inspired line. Now on to the pictures.

It all came in an unmarked box. But the logo is printed inside.

Each item was packed individually and the Rogue came in a cotton sack, different from the ones you’d normally get with a Coach New York bag. Some items are eligible to personalization (monogramming). I personalized the Rogue tag and the luggage tag.

Inside the box there was also an envelope with the description of the purchased goods and without the prices, which helps in case you are buying them as presents:

And this is the beautiful red Rogue in all its glory:

Did you like it? You can purchase it in their site (in Brazil it can be paid in up to 7 installments), in store and in their outlet locations. Happy shopping!
